This premiere, fully realized production adapted Charles Dickens’ holiday classic to be enjoyed at home. Filmed entirely remotely by utilizing green screen technology and observing strict safety protocols, this version of the timeless tale was created to bring us all together in a unique time of social distance.

NYC Queer Playback Theater aims to forge connection in the LGBTQ+ community, whether participants identify within the community or as an ally, by creating a safe and diverse space for personal growth through Playback performances and open rehearsals.
THE ELM TREE

Using the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, this production seeks to familiarize its audience with the experience of those who identify as gender queer, and to open their hearts and minds to envision a world that is safe and open to them. Through an immersive style, masks, music, and puppetry, the audience is guided through the Underworld, where they are met by a fantastical cast of characters who explore memories, gender identities, family, and the very nature of love.
HI MOM! MONOLOGUES FROM THE CHARACTERS OF CLIMATE CHANGE

As part of a yearlong developmental series, Hi, Mom! brought multiple playwrights together to shed insight and humor to the massive topic of today’s environmental crisis by creating a monologue-style play that featured the untold, or unheard, stories of many of the characters who are affected. Performed with Naked Light Productions at the Triskelion Arts Center, as part of The Tank’s DARKFEST, and in the NY Fringe Festival at the Kraine Theatre.

Performed at the Flamboyán Theater, this production promoted mindfulness through art using Sarah Kane’s poignant play with proactive talk-back panels between the cast, audience and mental health professionals. The play served as a springboard for discussion regarding the themes of mental health that are portrayed.

This premier of a new play took a seemingly normal domestic drama and dropped a heavy dose of Quantum Science in the middle of it, creating an old fashioned “midnight movie” for the stage.
